Suspend has started working with Ubuntu gutsy, the Mobility X1400, and the 7.12 catalyst driver. I think once when it came back the laptop's built-in keyboard and touchpad were not working and I had to re-suspend and re-wake it to make them come back, but it hasn't happened again.
