I don't think they will. Based on the first answers, the problem is at the core of this system. Fix it means re-write almost everything. At this point you have only two options: - Use the classic mode (passing --classic parameter to the Snap) that remove all restrictions and/or - Move to Flatpak that does it more properly. The latter has been my preferential one whenever it is possible. Unfortunately, not all apps are in both systems.
