I got the problem resolved. I went to Lenovo's Website: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and- netbooks/thinkpad-p-series- laptops/thinkpad-p15s-gen-2-type-20w6-20w7/20w6/20w6001nus/downloads/driver- list/component?name=BIOS%2FUEFI
And got the firmware from there (version 1.46). It had two files in it. 'N34ET46W.cab' said it was already installed and 'ThinkPad- EmbeddedControllerFirmware-1.37.cab' installed and when it booted back up the fan was working again. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1954340 Title: Fan stopped working after firmware upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1954340/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
