** Description changed: gnome-shell's minimize/unminimize animations do nothing for almost the first 100ms or so. They look slow because the easeInExpo curve does nothing for most of the first half of the animation time: - https://developer.gnome.org/clutter/stable/ClutterTimeline.html#ClutterAnimationMode + https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/clutter/-/blob/master/doc/reference/easing- + modes.svg A much more responsive, natural and fluid curve with the same overall duration would be to use an easeOut* curve.
