To overcome the problem on my machine I removed the following lines /var/lib/dpkg/info/swtpm-libs:amd64.list:6:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/swtpm/libswtpm_libtpms.so.0.0.0 /var/lib/dpkg/info/swtpm-libs:amd64.list:12:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/swtpm/libswtpm_libtpms.so.0
