Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: apport

I am attempting to file a bug report about epiphany crashing, only to
have apport close with no printed notice.

When I attempted to manually submit the crash report (by feeding the
.crash file to apport manually), it informed me that "The problem cannot
be reported: This is not a genuine Ubuntu package."

Since I'm really certain this package came from archive.ubuntu.com
(epiphany-gecko 2.21.4-0ubuntu2), I'm really confused, and would prefer
if this dialog box were to inform me of which, if more than one,
packages were invalid, and how to fix this.

** Affects: apport (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
