I have a knock off CSR bluetooth adapter version 5 which does not work
with Kubuntu 21.10, kernel 5.13.0-22.
The bluetooth dongle seems to register:

Says the dongle is not found as no devices are found.
Same with bluetoothctl:

[bluetooth]# show
No default controller available
