No response from reporter so closing as "Fix Released".
Any further enhancements should probably be requested from the GNOME
developers by posting to https://gitlab.gnome.org/groups/GNOME/-/issues
as it is unlikely that the Ubuntu developers will want to deviate from
'upstream' for future Ubuntu releases.
