Thanks for the bug report.
The version of gnome-shell you have is not from Ubuntu and not
supported. So this bug will be closed. Please install the Ubuntu version
of gnome-shell and then if you still have a problem open a new bug by
running:
ubuntu-bug gnome-shell
You might also want to try opening the Extensions app and disable all
listed. Then log in again.
