Booting Ubuntu Desktop (groovy RC 2020-10-16.4) - - motion computing j3400 (c2d-u9400, 4gb, intel mobile 4 series)
and plymouth takes ~8 mins to appear on screen the maybe-ubiquity (try or install) screen took >10 mins I did mention groovy in comment #17, but I don't believe I filed bugs, just noted on iso.qa.ubuntu.com QA-test reports. I didn't use stop-watch, but looked at room clock in room (digital without seconds so my times are approx only).. My ISO may also not have been released groovy; just last I zsync'd prior to release for QA. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1922342 Title: Impish live session takes ages to boot on BIOS systems To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/casper/+bug/1922342/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
