I can confirm this exact same problem with Ubuntu 21.10 live DVD in a Dell Inspiron N4110, a Dell Latitude E5430 with 16gb of ram, and an Acer Predator AG3610 with 6GB of RAM.I tried redownloading the media and burning to a different DVD brand on a different burner and got the same result.
The cli read the following failures: Failes unmounting /cdrom Failed to start Snap Daemon Failed to start Ubuntu live CD installer The desktop eventually loaded but barely functioned. No snap apps were available. To date, I have not gotten a 21.10 live DVD to work with any system correctly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1930880 Title: Booting Ubuntu 21.04 from DVD takes more than 30 minutes and its environment are corrupted To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/casper/+bug/1930880/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
