After reinstalling my system today, I can confirm that the older "245.4-4ubuntu3.13" systemd version does not have this issue.
** Description changed: I'm using KDE neon, ubuntu 20.04. This started happening after I upgraded to the 245.4-4ubuntu3.15 version. After reaching targer power-off, it hangs on: systemd-shutdown[1]: Failed to finalize DM devices, ignoring And it doesn't shut down, I have to force it by long-pressing the power button. + + EDIT: This happens if / is in a luks partition, regardless of the luks + version. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1958590 Title: systemd-shutdown hangs on "Failed to finalize DM devices, ignoring" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1958590/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
