Hi,
This report was marked as a duplicate of LP #1899248 because of the
following error:
[ERROR] [MY-011292] [Server] Plugin mysqlx reported: 'Preparation of I/O
interfaces failed, X Protocol won't be accessible'
[ERROR] [MY-011300] [Server] Plugin mysqlx reported: 'Setup of socket:
'/var/run/mysqld/mysqlx.sock' failed, can't create lock file
/var/run/mysqld/mysqlx.sock.lock'
However the cause of this report is actually related to a different
error in the log:
[ERROR] [MY-010262] [Server] Can't start server: Bind on TCP/IP port: Address
already in use
[ERROR] [MY-010257] [Server] Do you already have another mysqld server running
on port: 3306 ?
Therefore I am marking it as a duplicate of LP #1921378, which has the
same issue. Progress for this bug will now be tracked there.
