Public bug reported:

Hello,

I am on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS with Grsync 1.2.6-2 from the standard repos.

it's a great tool but I noticed that if Grsync is reduced, I am unable
to reopen it as it is not listed as an open application by the window
manager (see screenshot with no orange dot next to the app). The
Activity Monitor does include it so it's not crashed but it is not
possible to reopen the window as it is as if the app was never open
(alt-tab shows also doesn't show it, see screenshot).

If I reduce the app, when I go to click on the icon, it opens a new
instance of grsync and when the window is minimised the orange dot
disappears although the process is still active (as the per System
Monitor showin multiple instances, see screenshot).

I noticed the same behaviour using a panel (Dash-to-Panel extension)
rather than the standard Ubuntu Dock.

** Affects: grsync (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Attachment added: "desktop showing grsync open (and listed in Activity
Monitor) but no orange dot to open. and not listed with alt-tab"
