Public bug reported:

I've been struggling to use my raspberry pi with a hardware keyboard
connected.

I have some software engineering experience and would really love to
know even just where the source code is that controls the touch
keyboard.

- When the touch keyboard displays, touch events that are outside the keyboard
are shifted up on the screen, away from their visuals, such that random events
can happen when the screen is touched.
- I do not see a way to disable the touch keyboard, making navigation of forms
difficult.
