Binary package hint: rhythmbox
To reproduce:
At the command line, type something like the following:
rhythmbox-client --play-uri daap:192.168.0.3:3689/databases/1/items/1.mp3
The error returned is:
(rhythmbox-client:14266): Rhythmbox-WARNING **: No registered source can handle
URI daap:192.168.0.3:3689/databases/1/items/1.mp3
This error keeps developers from being able to write a service-
discovery-applet plugin for DAAP shares which open in Rhythmbox. I
realize that this is not especially high priority, but Ubuntu is looking
to move to Zeroconf/Avahi as much as possible. Fixing this bug is just
one more step in that process.
