A bit more context: while the aiocoap package is capable of running
without any other dependency than the Python stdlib, it can detect at
runtime the presence of other python packages and enable extra features
if those are present.
Until the 0.4 version, the setup.py script used to run the unit tests
would ignore the extra dependencies if they were not explicitly asked
for, but upstream recently changed this behavior to default to depend on
all the optional deps.
The ideal solution would be to actually install the optional deps in the
tests, but this package holds up the Py 3.10 transition, so just
returning to the previous behavior of focusing on core features seems
reasonable.
