The firefox and chromium snap both connect by default to the system- packages-doc interface¹ which provides read-only access to /usr/share/doc.
I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be hard to convince snapd folks to update the interface to add access to /usr/share/gtk-doc. Can you check whether the interface is indeed connected (output of `snap connections firefox`)? ¹ https://snapcraft.io/docs/the-system-package-doc-interface ** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1960546 Title: [snap] can't view system installed html documentation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1960546/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
