Some notes from vorlon on this: vorlon> Steve Langasek coreycb: so, python-sqlsoup would have already been removed except that the epigrass that drops the dependency is still in -proposed and hasn't migrated 12:23 PM coreycb: and that's because the new epigrass requires python3-numba, which was removed because it wasn't ready for python3.10... 12:24 PM coreycb: I could remove epigrass from the release pocket and then the rest would sort itself out, but I don't really want to do that until I see some evidence of numba being fixed, given that this was supposed to be a "temporary" removal
Upstream numba now supports python 3.10. I heard from ginggs (Graham Inggs) the new numba needs https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/onetbb uploaded to unstable first. The Debian maintainer (Diane) mentioned the same and there have been problems getting onetbb built: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1000336 https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=onetbb&suite=experimental ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #1000336 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1000336 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1957001 Title: [RM] python-sqlsoup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python-sqlsoup/+bug/1957001/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
