When checking the "System Monitor" it is always "tracker-miner-fs-3" consuming all of the resources. I have been having problems with tracker-miner since 20.04 LTS and so I upgraded to 21.10 and I'm still having problems with search indexing bringing my system to its knees and making Ubuntu clunky and unusable. I have attached a photo of my system specifications. - The fix for me was to completely disable search indexing: Settings > - Search > Turn Off Search Indexing.
