Hello Thai and thanks for this bug report. Some general clarification questions:
1. You mentioned Ubuntu 2021.4 in the bug subject. Do you mean Ubuntu 20.04 (Focal), correct? 2. Is is possible for you to test the same configuration but without SSL (i.e. without --use-ldap)? Just to make sure the issue is actually with SSL. My impression here is that you're facing issues with the certificate (self-signed? CA missing? wrong ciphers?). Since it seems likely to me that this is a local configuration problem, rather than a bug in Ubuntu, I'm marking this bug as Incomplete. If you believe that this is really a bug, we'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem, explain why you believe this is a bug in Ubuntu rather than a problem specific to your setup, and then change the bug status back to New. If indeed this is a local configuration problem, you can find pointers to get help for this sort of problem here: https://ubuntu.com/support/community-support ** Changed in: realmd (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1961865 Title: Cannot Join Active Directory from Ubuntu 2021.4 via Realm with option --use-ldaps To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/realmd/+bug/1961865/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
