Public bug reported:
The following happened after upgrading from Plasma 5.22 to Plasma 5.24.
1) All my previously configured desktop effects are broken. Unable to
restore them in "system settings".
Among them are: present windows, switch between windows, switch between
desktops, ....
2) The "screen edge" feature does not work properly. (I set the upper
left corner to present windows.) It is impossible to select a window by
mouse clicking on it.
3) Some of these features actually disrupt my work routine. To the
extent that I regret unstalling 5.24, and would be happier with 5.22
again...
