I think Adobe Reader determines the paper size using the LC_MESSAGES variable. Anyway, it looks like you locale is not set up correctly for your country (assuming you live outside the US or Canada). Please run the following command in a terminal and choose your correct locale: $ sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales
