Public bug reported: Ubuntu Jammy Jellyfish 22.04 pre-relase daily build Ratel Performance with Intel i7 3770 CPU and AMD RX 570 GPU
mpv 0.34.1 Copyright © 2000-2021 mpv/MPlayer/mplayer2 projects built on UNKNOWN FFmpeg library versions: libavutil 56.70.100 libavcodec 58.134.100 libavformat 58.76.100 libswscale 5.9.100 libavfilter 7.110.100 libswresample 3.9.100 FFmpeg version: 4.4.1-3ubuntu5 Playing a video is fine, but when you resize it may or may not continue to work. It continues to play, complains about a few dropped frames, but in various videos I've tried (mkv from two sources, mp4 from two sources), it will get "stuck" on a certain frame and flash (bright and then dim, back and forth), while the audio continues to play. Seems to be related to audio, since if the movie is muted, the bug doesn't appear to show, but if you turn the audio back up the bug shows up again. Not sure if this is an issue with GNOME, mesa, or mpv itself, but I thought I'd report it in case it can be isolated and fixed. Doesn't appear to affect gnome-mpv or "Celluloid" which uses mpv as the backend. ** Affects: mpv (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1966156 Title: mpv stops updating video after resizing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mpv/+bug/1966156/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
