Adding suitable icons for different themes is half the solution. But those icons will be added to ubuntu-mate-artwork 22.04.10.
That said, mate-settings-daemon doesn't respond to theme changes, so the correct icons are only loaded when the desktop session starts or if mate-settings-daemon is reloaded. Option are: - mate-tweak to reload mate-settings-daemon when toggling on keyboard LED status - mate-appearance-properties to reload mate-settings-daemon when changing themes - mate-settings-daemon should listen to theme change and reload the icons ** Changed in: mate-panel (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid ** Changed in: libmatekbd (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid ** No longer affects: mate-desktop ** Also affects: mate-tweak (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: mate-tweak (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: ubuntu-mate-artwork (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Committed ** Also affects: mate-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: mate-settings-daemon (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: ubuntu-mate-artwork (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Martin Wimpress (flexiondotorg) ** Changed in: mate-tweak (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Martin Wimpress (flexiondotorg) ** Changed in: mate-tweak (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: ubuntu-mate-artwork (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: mate-control-center (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: mate-settings-daemon (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1728715 Title: keyboard LED indicator have low contrast on light themes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libmatekbd/+bug/1728715/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
