I managed to get the card back with pulseaudio: - logout of desktop session/xrdp - systemctl restart xrdp - unplug usb sound card from Ubuntu (this is not a usb redirection issue) - login to xrdp - run pulseaudio-dlna python script (not sure if it's related but was running previously for dlna, chromecast) - run: pacmd unload-module module-udev-detect && pacmd load-module module-udev-detect
output: Module module-udev-detect not loaded. After that pulseaudio shows the device and works again ** Attachment added: "Capture.PNG" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1966604/+attachment/5573524/+files/Capture.PNG ** Summary changed: - [USB-Audio - ICUSBAUDIO7D, playback] Pulseaudio fails to detect card + [USB-Audio - ICUSBAUDIO7D, playback] Pulseaudio fails to detect previously working card -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1966604 Title: [USB-Audio - ICUSBAUDIO7D, playback] Pulseaudio fails to detect previously working card To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1966604/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
