Public bug reported:
As the title says, the F keys the control screen brightness (F11/F12 on
the Lenovo Ideapad 3 15ITL05 laptop I have) don't work on Ubuntu 21.10.
All other special function keys (volume up/down, lock screen, airplane
mode, etc...) and the screen brightness slider in the top right-hand
corner work; it's just the brightness keys that are not working.
I know I can just use the slider, but it's more convenient to use the F
keys. I hope you are working on this for a future 21.10 update.
Also, I originally installed 20.04 and upgraded to 21.10, but even on
20.04, those keys weren't working, either.
