Public bug reported:
I tried the beta upgrade from 20.04 lts to 22.04 lts beta. My computer
booted to a black screen with a blinking cursor. This was on a laptop,
assus flipbook with an i7 10th gen processor. 4K screen with a nvidia
1050. But I had the nvidia card deactivated to save battery life.
After I rebooted I got the Oh no something went wrong screen. I then
hit ctrl-alt-f3 to get to a command prompt and after I force a bunch of
updates I was able to recover.
