Public bug reported:
Hibernation fails on both Gutsy and Hardy, though they fail slightly
differently. Gutsy appears to write everything to disk then switch off, but
resuming means starting up again from POST. Hardy doesn't even appear to try
to write its state to disk, it just hangs. Hard reboot is required. Both
releases are up-to-date 64-bit installations on a Sony Vaio SZ650N.
