Hi Ganesh, Thanks for reporting this issue!
I could not reproduce the issue locally. Here is what I tried so far: From a clean focal VM, I installed tftpd tftp; then, I installed tftpd-hpa, which is what it seems you have done by looking at your logs. Also checking your logs, I see the following entry: Apr 05 11:52:27 V330-14IKB in.tftpd[10649]: cannot bind to local IPv4 socket: Address already in use Are you running the service manually or from a different third party package? Could you provide detailed steps to reproduce the issue? Since there is not enough information in your report to begin triage or to differentiate between a local configuration problem and a bug in Ubuntu, I am marking this bug as "Incomplete". We would be grateful if you would: provide a more complete description of the problem, explain why you believe this is a bug in Ubuntu rather than a problem specific to your system, and then change the bug status back to "New". For local configuration issues, you can find assistance here: http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community ** Changed in: tftp-hpa (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1967829 Title: package tftpd-hpa 5.2+20150808-1.2build1 failed to install/upgrade: installed tftpd-hpa package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tftp-hpa/+bug/1967829/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
