I am not sure I understand why its an Evolution bug if Metacity dies.
Does Evolution also die? Is there a crash report created (look at
/var/crash, for either Evolution or Metacity? (if there are crashes, do
*not* attach them here; instead, run 'sudo apport-gtk <crash file
name>', and open a new bug (and refer to this one).)
