Marco, if you would have read all the comments, you would have noticed that
there are several problems and all appear to be solved, especially the initial
problem (by installing boinc-client).
So I'm marking it as invalid (especially since boinc-manager recommends
boinc-client, at least in Hardy).
Regarding the "graphics do not display", please refer to bug 72192.
