Hello tremel and thanks for this bug report. The attached
DpkgTerminalLog.txt shows an issue with debconf not being able to find
some Perl modules:
Can't locate Debconf/FrontEnd/Noninteractive.pm in @INC (you may need to
install the Debconf::FrontEnd::Noninteractive module) (@INC contains:
/etc/perl /usr/local/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl/5.30.0
/usr/local/share/perl/5.30.0 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl5/5.30
/usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl/5.30
/usr/share/perl/5.30 /usr/local/lib/site_perl /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-
gnu/perl-base) at /usr/share/perl5/Debconf/ConfModule.pm line 13.
This looks like corruption of the debconf package (or of the system's
Perl setup) rather than a bug specific to ubuntu-advantage-tools. I see
you mentioned fsck in the bug description; did you perhaps got a
corrupted filesystem? Severe corruption would explain the missing files.
In general we need more information and context to verify this is a bug
in ubuntu-advantage-tools, so I'm marking this report as Incomplete for
now.
