I still did see it, even after several shutdowns and reboots. I ended up removing the gutsy version from the system and am using the mozilla.com version (since he bug was submitted). It is also the only system I've experienced it on - my home setup. I used apt-get install dist-upgrade from feisty to gutsy. Not sure if that had any involvment with the problem. I just rm'd my /usr/bin/firefox symlink to /usr/local/bin/firefox/firefox, then apt-get remove firefox, then apt-get install firefox, and it appears to be fine - Help > About Firefox shows 2.0.0.11 per the cached gutsy .deb file. I have no idea what happened or how it fixed itself. Thanks.
