After giving my machine a thorough workout the bug seems to be gone. It appears it was the irqpoll option that was the culprit. I likely won't have a chance to test out Hardy for a while, but when I get a chance I'll update this bug report. In the meantime I'll set this one as resolved (since it seems to be).
Is it normal for kernel options to be reset after every kernel upgrade? Before upgrading I had the nosplash, noapic, and irqpoll options all set, but after the upgrade the options were reset to the default "splash", and the other two were gone. -- USB devices not functioning after kernel upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/177835 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
