expected: application asked for password to authorize for sudo (root) 
privileges to run then for it to run...


happened: administrator level account is unable to authorize application to run.

same type of reaction to issue #1965439 for software-properties-qt which
also happens here

screen shot attached with terminals open and the error message with
attempted bug report collection.
