I updated my 22.04 system today (with Nvidia proprietary drivers and a 3080 card). I added this file:
cat /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia-power-management.conf options nvidia NVreg_PreserveVideoMemoryAllocations=1 Now both Wayland and suspend/resume seems to work for the first time ever. Without the above file, the system uses X11. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1968929 Title: Missing Wayland login option on NVIDIA systems To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oem-priority/+bug/1968929/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
