Public bug reported:

On my brand new Dell D830, to test the battery I intentionally let the
battery run out.

g-p-m seemed to properly report the power consumption in the notification area
(last time I looked it said I was at 15%) and I was expecting
 1) to get a dialog popped up when the power was critically low
 2) to see g-p-m gracefully shut down the system before the battery completely
run out of charge

Instead the pc simply run out of power.

** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
