Public bug reported: Impact ------ This is a new stable release in the GNOME 42 series https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-maps/-/blob/42.1/NEWS
I am reverting a commit which switched from the old libgweather to libgweather4. There wasn't really a code change here so it's better to keep running against the same library we released Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with. Test Case --------- Install the update Open GNOME Maps. Verify that the map displays correctly. Also verify that directions to another location work. What Could Go Wrong ------------------- This falls under the microrelease exception since GNOME Maps is part of core GNOME. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates/GNOME This app is not included by default in any Ubuntu flavor. ** Affects: gnome-maps (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Status: Fix Committed ** Affects: gnome-maps (Ubuntu Jammy) Importance: Low Status: In Progress ** Tags: jammy upgrade-software-version ** Also affects: gnome-maps (Ubuntu Jammy) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: gnome-maps (Ubuntu Jammy) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: gnome-maps (Ubuntu Jammy) Status: New => In Progress -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1970988 Title: Update gnome-maps to 42.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-maps/+bug/1970988/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
