I just followed https://askubuntu.com/questions/311622/downgrading-iwlwifi for Intel 7260 using -17 ucode. However, the rmmod iwldvm && rmmod iwlwifi modprobe iwlwifi && modprobe iwldvm did not work as there is no iwldvm module . Could this be the issue or is iwldvm replaced by something else? I changed into /usr/local/lib/firmware, using sudo for all operations, and after iwldvm failed I did the rmmod iwlwifi followed by modprobe iwlwifi but this did not activate the Intel 7260. Was there a change between Ubuntu 20.04LTS and 22.04LTS (e.g., a different kernel and kernel support systems)?
