Hi Andreas Thanks for your reply and I think that many people would appreciate some workarounds.
Also I feel like letting off a little steam, hope it's okay I do it here. I'm a big fan of what Canonical and other Linux vendors in the industry have done so far to support Active Directory, but when stuff like this just breaks for months and no updates are issued and there is little to no communication, it's a disaster, it is really hard to advocate the Linux desktop for enterprises in a world were Active Directory is the industry standard. I'm working with the IT department at my workplace (Technical University of Denmark) regarding offering Ubuntu for employees, but this has delayed the project for many months and I'm obviously worried that something similar will happen again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1962203 Title: Unable to join to active directory after KB5008380/CVE-2021-42287 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/adcli/+bug/1962203/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
