I thought this problem had solved itself somehow since I could resume from suspend but around 2 weeks ago, the problem resurfaced again.
About your solutions: Here's the thing, I can't see the login screen post resume. The whole screen is blank. There's no way to send an input to the computer (e.g., CAPS Lock button doesn't work, else that capslock light would blink when the button is pressed). So there's no way to select "Ubuntu on Wayland" on the login screen. Sorry! More info: In Softwares and Updates > Additional Drivers, I can see that my system is using "NVIDIA driver metapackage from nvidia-driver-470 (proprietary, tested)" for my NVIDIA GeForce MX130. But when I try to open NVIDIA XServer settings, it shows a small window with nothing in it. Maybe the driver isn't working properly (which is why I am getting a decent battery life ;P)? Something to do with Secure Boot and MOK? ** Changed in: linux-hwe-5.13 (Ubuntu) Status: Expired => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1960602 Title: Ubuntu 20.04 shows blank upon resuming from resume.
