What _really_ happens here is that the samba-server task has overlap
with another task, so if you remove it, you will remove part of the
other task. This has significantly improved since 16.04 I believe
though, as apt will only remove the overlapping packages and the
metapackages, and mark the meta package dependencies as manually
installed.
