Public bug reported: There's already a patch for mainline kernel in Fix Committed state. In order to have an opportunity to use Phantom lake SoNIC's UART as kernel console, 8250_MID module should be compiled into the kernel. After we've rebuilt custom kernel with 8250_MID=y instead of 8250_MID=m console became functional
