Public bug reported:

ctrans converts gmeta files into postscript and other formats. It uses
graphcaps from /usr/share/ncarg/graphcaps/, which is not present in the
ubuntu package.

Running the command "ctrans -d ps.mono -f font4 gmeta" produces this
output:

ctrans: FATAL - open(/usr/share/ncarg/graphcaps/ps.mono,O_RDONLY)
ctrans: FATAL - Can't initialize device(/usr/share/ncarg/graphcaps/ps.mono) [
open(/usr/share/ncarg/graphcaps/ps.mono,O_RDONLY) ]

Downloading the
https://www.earthsystemgrid.org/api/v1/dataset/ncl.662.dap/file/ncl_ncarg-6.6.2-Debian9.8_64bit_gnu630.tar.gz
tar file and extracting graphcaps into /usr/share/ncarg fixes the issue. Can
you please add this directory to the package?
