if you right click on a file (on nautilus) and then select: properties>open 
with>add:
you will see a UI with a list of application 

this is the UI that the user need see if he select the "Other" option.

[idea] in the future this UI will help the user to install a "recommend 
application",
for example:
the user click on KML, now 
if Google Earth is already installed, the user will click to run the files 
(like to day)
but if Google Earth is not install the os pop up this UI, now the user need to 
mark from the list application Google Earth to install it
this mean that the application list include not just installed application but 
also an uninstall application (the uninstall application are a "recommend 
application"- so in the future you don't need to search for application, you 
will need to search for a feature).
