Brasero 0.7.0 has a workaround this problem/bug. I suggest you to try out it's
available on hardy.
Sometimes cdrecord/wodim set's a recommended speed for burning so it's not just
a brasero problem.
Please try 0.7.0 i belive it will work for you.
