Thanks for the detailed info. From that moment on I can see the system resuming including Xorg waking up but no errors are logged at all. Are you able to ssh into the frozen machine from another machine? I would like to know what 'ps auxw' reports at that point. Also if the mouse cursor is frozen then the bug is lower level than gnome-shell so this is either in Xorg, the Nvidia Xorg driver, or the kernel. ** Package changed: ubuntu => xorg-server (Ubuntu) ** Also affects: nvidia-graphics-drivers-510 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1970808 Title: [nvidia] Lock screen is frozen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-510/+bug/1970808/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
