I also have this problem with Gutsy, kernel 2.6.22-14-generic. My latest
xorg.conf is attached. Enabling the wireless devices (in ServerLayout)
doesn't solve the problem. Besides which I don't like to use "Dev Phys"
as the details can change depending on which USB socket is used. dmesg
below suggests that usb wireless receiver, kbd & mouse are recognised as
well as wired usb mouse:
