Users will nearly always attempt to do something stupid, not on intent
but by chance. Black lettering on a black background, for example. It's
unavoidable. Don't even attempt it. Maybe a disclaimer when the choice
to utilise user settings rather than site settings is available?
Certainly, it would be for me. Perhaps a button or something in a
predictable place of the display could be added to allow the user to
reset the settings for a single site to their defaults. Maybe two
"clicks" in a row would toggle away and then back? Maybe indefinitely?
Maybe just for this one time while the browser is displaying a specific
